Tong Lin
PhD Graduate Student, Graduate Center PhD Fellow
|
Tong’s research focuses on applications of optical methods and remote sensing measurements to studies of ocean physical and biological processes. Tong earned a BS in Electronic Information Science and Technology from Southwest Jiaotong University. His MSc thesis research at the Xiamen University focused on the detection of moving objects in water environment based on video surveillance system as part of the National Key Research and Development Plan. Tong has received a number of competitive awards as an undergraduate and graduate student, including an award for "Outstanding poster of China Ocean Color Remote Sensing Conference" (2019), the 2018 Xiamen University college scholarship, and the 2014 Southwest Jiaotong University college scholarship.
