Dean Wilson Gelling
LDEO Undergraduate Intern

Dean Wilson Gelling joined the lab in 2022, as a summer intern in partnership with Columbia University's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. He continues his work with the lab as a research assistant,  processing and analyzing data from the Yukon River-Bering Sea continuum. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science at Columbia University, and his scientific interests surround conservation applications for remote sensing, land-sea-ice interactions, and alpine environments.
