Julianne Chin-Drachman
Undergraduate student

Julianne joined the lab in October 2023 as an undergraduate research assistant intern, in partnership with Columbia’s Climate School. Julianne is a junior at Columbia University studying Environmental Science. Her interests include water quality, coastal ecosystems, environmental remediation, and the intersection between the environment and public health. She is working with the lab to quantify the impacts that human activities, climate change, and extreme events have on the health and ecology of the heavily urbanized New York City and Long Island coastal ecosystems and its vulnerable communities.
