Ella joined the lab in June 2023 as a communications and outreach intern, in partnership with Columbia's Climate School. Ella is a senior at Columbia University studying Sustainable Development. She is very interested in communicating climate science to the general public, especially using art as a method of communication and education. She is working with the lab to produce artworks and media related to ocean biology, aquatic ecology, climate change and human-ecosystem connections.
